Integrated Navigation on Multidimensional Information Spaces (INOMIS)
The growing usage of information systems results in large amounts of data which need to be archived systematically in order to guarantee easy retrieval in future. Often users have to face serious problems when trying to keep an overview on all their data. This leads to unproductive searching time. This is particularly the case for interorganizational networks consisting of many cooperating partners. INOMIS is a method which allows the classification of data within a multidimensional information space. Data coming from different sources can be integrated whereby a complete overview about the available information range is created. Semantic search methods enable all users to search and manage their entire database efficiently. This research result was described by Admin Istrator (12.
